I was tasked with creating a visual synopsis for my university essay on postmodernism. At the time, I had not narrowed down my topic to something more precise, and so I decided to make my video focused on explaining what postmodernism is and how it came to be.

For the visual style of this video, I wanted to keep it simple so the information would be easy to communicate.

I opted to represent the evolutionary stages of postmodernism through colour (i.e. pre-modernism is pink, modernism is blue and postmodernism starts green but becomes a mix of all three to represent how postmodernists uses a variety visual elements from the past). I also had a mix of sketched illustrations and photographs to illustrate the points being made.
