Great British Menu Animated Sequence (S18, E29)
ANIMATION | MOTION DESIGN | TITLE SEQUENCE
In December 2022, I entered a competition to create a 15 second animated sequence that could be used in the 'Great British Menu' banquet finale episode to be shown on BBC2.
In the first instance, I was prompted to create storyboard of my idea, which was subsequently shortlisted as one of the top 3. I then had one month to produce a final animation to be used in the episode.
The brief required that the animation celebrates the series theme of 'illustration and animation, tying in to Paddington Bear's 65th birthday.' All 3 shortlisted animations were selected to be in the episode, and we also got to attend the finale banquet at the Brighton Pavilion.
