Combining my love for mosaic aesthetics with astrological symbols, Zodaics explores the intersection of tiling patterns and personality traits. The name itself reflects this fusion, blending "zodiac" and "mosaic". I found myself relying on colours to define each sign, using cool blue palettes for water signs like Cancer and switching to warm, vibrant oranges for fire signs like Leo to reflect their elemental roots.
